Hong Kong French Toast

Ingredients

  • 2 Slices of bread
  • 2 Eggs
  • Milk
  • Strawberry / grape jam
  • Butter

Directions

  1. Take 2 slices of bread, cut off each edge.
  2. Beat 2 eggs, add milk, let it settle
  3. Apply Jam to toast, spread on surface of one side. Put slices together like a sandwich
  4. Dip Bread in egg mixture.
  5. Heat pan, add in butter with olive oil.
  6. Fry 1 minute each side.
  7. Optional: add butter to top of the bread and let the heat melt it.
